How it works

1. 1Put the products in a private gateA gate is an application with its own buyers. Products in a private gate are sold only to the people it lets in.
2. 2Ask for the licenseAdd a document upload to the application, such as “Upload your professional license”, and a field for the license number. Make both required.
3. 3Review and approveEach application is emailed to you with the license attached if you choose, and with Approve and Reject buttons.
4. 4Licensed buyers see their pricesOnce approved, they sign in with their email and a code, and see the professional price for every product in that gate.

Show the product, hide the price

Your public store can list a professional product with its picture and description, and say “Registration required” where the price would be. A visitor presses it and is taken to that gate’s application. Nobody who is not approved is ever sent the professional price, not even hidden in the page.

Or keep a vendor out of the public store altogether, so only approved professionals know it is there.

Upload your list of licensed customers as a CSV or Excel file. When one of them applies with that email, they are approved at once.

A salon buying to resell can send its resale certificate with its application. Approve it, and no sales tax is added to its orders.
