A price for everyone the school serves

Each group is a gate, with its own application and its own price for each vendor. For example:

• The public, at retail prices, with no account needed.
• Students and graduates, who apply once and buy at their own prices after you approve them.
• Licensed professionals, who upload their license when they apply. See professional-only products, below.
• Your staff, through a gate that approves on its own.

Enrolled students can be let straight in: upload your class list as a CSV or Excel file, and anyone who applies with an email on it is approved at once. How the prices work is in Prices for each kind of buyer.

Teachers credited for their students’ orders

Add “Who is your teacher?” to the students’ application, as a list to choose from. Every order a student places is then credited to the teacher they chose. Set a commission as a percentage of the sale or an amount per order, or count the sales alone. The Commissions report shows each teacher’s orders and sales for this month, last month, this year or all time.

GateVentory counts the commission. You pay your teachers as you always have.

Your vendors ship, you keep no stock

2. 2Set each vendor’s shipping and returnsFree, a flat amount, or free over an amount, with how long it takes and its returns policy, which shoppers read before they pay.
3. 3Each vendor is emailed its part of an orderWith what to ship and where, and never what anything sold for. It marks its part shipped from its own link, and the student is told.

An order picked up at the school can be marked picked up.

Run it with your team

Roles for your staff

You and up to five more people run the store, as admins or managers, with switches for what each role may do, such as refunds.

Your store, your look

Your store has its own address, such as yourschool.GateVentory.com, your logo and your color, and one link on your school’s website leads to it.
