Shopper Terms

Last updated October 20, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Sunny Systems LLC (“GateVentory”, “we”). They apply when you register at, sign in to, or buy from a store that runs on GateVentory. By doing any of those, you agree to them.

1. Who we are, and who runs each store

GateVentory is software a business uses to run its own online store. The business that runs a store is its “seller”: its name is at the top of the store.

We provide the store’s software and your sign-in. We are not the seller.

2. What you buy, you buy from the seller

Your purchase is an agreement between you and the seller, and we are not a party to it. The products, their prices, shipping and its cost, sales tax, delivery, returns, refunds and customer service are the seller’s, and the seller’s own policies apply.

We do not make, stock, ship, check or guarantee any product, and we do not promise that what a seller says about a product is right.

An order is often shipped to you by the seller’s own supplier. That supplier is then given what it needs to deliver it: your name, your shipping address and your phone number.

3. Your sign-in

You sign in with your email address and a code we send to it. There is no password. Keep that mailbox secure: whoever can read it can sign in as you.

One sign-in works at every store on GateVentory. Give information that is true, keep it up to date, and do not use anyone else’s sign-in.

You must be at least 18.

4. Registering at a store

Some stores, and some prices, are open only to people the seller has accepted. When you register, your answers go to that seller.

The seller decides whether to accept you and which prices you see, and can take your access away later. Those decisions are the seller’s, and we cannot change them.

A seller sees what you gave that seller and what you ordered from it. It does not see what you did at another store.

5. Paying

The seller takes your payment through Stripe, or through PayPal where you pay with PayPal or Venmo, into the seller’s own account. We never hold your money, and we never see or keep your card number.

A refund is made by the seller and goes back the way you paid. Banks usually take 5 to 10 business days to show it.

If a store closes before your order reaches you, your order is refunded in full.

6. Messages from us

We email you for the seller: the codes you sign in with, the answer to a registration, and news of your orders. They are part of the service, so they cannot be switched off while you use it.

We send you no marketing.

7. Using a store fairly

You will not:

  • give false information when you register or buy;
  • try to see prices, or reach a store, that you were not given;
  • buy anything for an unlawful purpose;
  • use robots, scrapers or other automated tools on a store;
  • interfere with a store or with GateVentory, or try to get around its security.

8. If something goes wrong

Start with the seller: an order, a delivery, a return or a refund is the seller’s to put right. If the seller does not, the bank or company behind the way you paid may be able to help.

If you believe a store is breaking the law or these terms, tell us at hello@gateventory.com. We may look into it and act on it, but we are not required to settle a disagreement between you and a seller.

9. Your information

Our Privacy Policy says what we collect, what we do with it, and who else sees it. For what you give a seller, the seller decides how it is used, and we keep it for that seller.

10. Google Maps

Where a form offers matches for an address as you type, GateVentory includes Google Maps features and content. Use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

11. Closing or suspending your sign-in

You can stop using GateVentory at any time. To leave one store, choose “Leave” in your account menu there: you come off its shopper list, and it is asked not to contact you. To delete your sign-in, choose “Delete my account”: you leave every store at once. Either way, records of your orders stay with the sellers you bought from, and you are still emailed about an order on its way.

We may suspend or close a sign-in that breaks these terms or puts sellers, other shoppers or GateVentory at risk.

12. What we are responsible for

GateVentory is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We are not responsible for a seller’s products, prices, shipping, taxes, policies or conduct, or for services provided by others, such as Stripe and Google.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, and our total liability to you for everything connected with GateVentory is limited to $100.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be taken away by an agreement.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute with us will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, and we change the date at the top when we do. When a change matters, we tell you by email or when you next sign in. If you keep using a store after a change takes effect, you agree to the changed terms.
